Parents
Parents have the greatest responsibility in raising sons and
daughters to know Jesus Christ and to obey His word. And the
toughest part is that your kids are a lot like you were when you were a
student. It can seem like a 7-year yelling match, or it can be a
true joy to raise students to know Christ and His Word. In our
ministry to parents, we want to assist and reinforce what you are teaching
them about Christ. Deuteronomy 6:1-10 informs parents that it is
their job to teach their children about God's Word. What a great challenge and what a great privilege to be a
Christian parent.
To help you grow in your own faith, you should be involved
in an Adult Bible Fellowship
on Sunday mornings where you can hear and discuss the Word of
God with other adults who may also be parents of students. Our Adult
Bible Fellowships are using the same Bible Study materials as the
students, so the scripture can be discussed with your student throughout
the week.
We also
offer various other personal
spiritual growth opportunities
for adults throughout the
year.
