DEALING WITH TOXIC FAMILY MEMBERS - PART 2

How should you handle forgiveness with Toxic Family Members?
Ephesians 4:32; Luke 17: 3-4

Forgive them to God immediately and let it go.
When they ask for forgiveness, you're going to be able to forgive them.

Here are the third and fourth prayers:

3. "Father, empower me to change my thinking."
It's not difficult to spot toxic relationships. But it's difficult to change toxic relationships.
Romans 12:2
You can't do it by yourself. Jeremiah 17:9

Three Resources to help us change our way of thinking!
The Spirit of God empowers my mind. Romans 8:9
The word of God enlightens my mind. Psalm 119:105
The community of God encourages my mind. Hebrews 10:25

4. "Father, free me to accept your love."
1 John 4:16, 18-19; 1 John 4:9; Romans 8:38-39
How do I know God loves me? He first loved us.
