Our mission at ARBC is to make disciples through ministry,
worship, discipleship, outreach, and community. One of
the ways we are trying to accomplish this mission is to
provide mission trip opportunities for adults and students.
There is no greater way to grow in your own relationship to
Christ than to reach out to others and share Christ with them.
In addition to Texas Baptist Men opportunities that come up as
the need arises and ongoing Garland community mission
projects, such as the apartment ministry at The Mission at Springcreek Apartments with Reach
Garland,
The Roc
ministries & ESL,
New Hope Transition Home,
and helping students read at
Hickman Elementary. We also offer the opportunity to serve in the
Dominican
Republic during a week-long mission trip.

Will you pray for us?
The prayers of our church are very important to the success
of our mission trip. Here are some things you can pray for:
God’s strength to keep us going. God’s words when asked why we are there. God’s smile when we need to communicate His love. God’s protection as we fly, drive, walk and work. God’s peace knowing that He is caring for our
families.
Please pray for us by name: Andy Bunn,
Suzanne Berry, Bobby Bownds, Ken Bownds, Rhonda Bownds,
David Largent, Warren Matlock, Jon McCaslin, Mike Motley,
William Riley, Weldon Ritchie, Steve Runnels, Gina Runnels,
Brooklyn Runnels, Payton Runnels, Paul Siebenmann, Peggy
Siebenmann, Mike Whisenant, Sandi Whisenant, and Riley
Wentz.
Land for
Dominican Church The
church in Barahona, Dominican Republic that we have been
working with for the last three years has purchased property
for a Baptist Church in Barahona. The land was paid for by the
generous donations from members of our church. The
Dominican Baptist Convention lawyer helped with negotiations
and the next step is for a title search and survey of the
land. When that is complete we will begin building on
the property. Pastor Franklin and the Barahona church
are so excited and have begun to plan how they can clear the
land and get it ready for construction.
ARBC is working with the church in
Barahona, Dominican Republic to help kids. This
project is called Niños Para
Cristo or Kids for Christ. To find out how you can
sponsor a child, go to:

Ladies from New Hope have been attending various ladies events
(Fall Conference, Komen Walk, Fabulous Fridays, Bible Studies,
Fall Festival, etc,) and both the blended and contemporary
services. God is continuing to bless ARBC with opportunities
