Church Library News

Library Policy

In January, Bro. Ed preached on starting the year off right by setting goals. The first one he listed was the goal for intellectual growth. He encouraged us to start a new hobby, learn something new, or READ A BOOK. You can do all three of these by making a visit to the church library. We have books on all sorts of topics from Bible study to flower arranging, parenting to getting out of debt, and everything in between. For an easy read we have a wonderful collection of Christian fiction.

Parents of home schoolers, we have a wide variety of non-fiction books written especially for ages 6-13. Subjects include science, history, and geography as well as biographies of famous people.

The library is now open on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00. If you are not involved in another activity at this time we invite you to come in and browse. Parents, this would be a great time for you to come in while your children are involved in children’s programs.

Football fans, James Brown, host of NFL pregame shows on FOX and CBS, has written a book entitled Role of A Lifetime: Finding the Part You were Created to Play. A devout Christian, Brown has much to say about how we should live our Christian lives. Stop by today and be the first to read this book.

In Christ,
Edna Rhea
