Church Library News
Library Policy
August already?!? Seems hard to believe that this
year is more than half over. School starts this month, Labor Day is
next month, Fall Festival in October, Thanksgiving in November and
Christmas in December. Then 2011! Too little time to accomplish
those goals we had for 2010. I have heard some of you say that you
would like to know more about life during Biblical times. Others
have said that they would like to do a personal in-depth study of a
certain book of the Bible. Others want to read a book by a certain
author. Have you accomplished your goal this year? There’s still
time. Come in and find the resources you need in our church library.
Earlier this summer a very dear member of our church
went home to be with the Lord. Karen Ward enjoyed many things but
one of her favorite things was helping children learn to read or
improve their reading skills. Because of her love of the written
word, we are pleased to announce that our church library will soon
be the Karen Ward Memorial Library. Dedication will be on Sunday,
September 12. Please join us as we honor Karen’s memory and her
family on this day. More details will be in the September Connection
