COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR ARAPAHO ROAD AWANA STUDENTS
AND YOUTH
A list of colleges and the amount of scholarship monies they
give is at:

offer up to $12,000 dollars for those who earn the Citation
award. Some colleges also offer scholarships for those who have
earned the Meritorious and Timothy award. Please check out the

Journey meets at 5:00 p.m. in the FLC!
All 9th - 12th Grade Students Welcome!
Journey is a high octane fun event designed for
our students. Journey meets in the Family Life Building from
5:00 - 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings during the school year.
Students today face endless challenges and
pressures in their walk with Christ. They need sound
Biblical direction - they will find just that with Journey.
They need encouragement, and tools that will show them how to
boldly follow the Savior every day, every week, all year round -
24/7.
Journey
features an energetic look, enhanced content, life application
and is balanced with Scripture memory, Bible studies and small
group time. The Adult leaders have been
provided with relevant tools for in-depth, focused discipleship.
They are challenging and thought provoking yet accessible to
students from all spiritual backgrounds.
For any
teen who has completed T&T, Trek, and Journey, there are
awards of college scholarships to various Christian colleges in
the United States (depending on your level of completion).
Optional Opportunities:
The Dillo Bowl at the Cowboys Stadium
Texas State Championships in Games, Volleyball and Bible Quizzing
Summit - a four-day youth festival in Chicago featuring national
competitions in Bible Quizzing, Fine Arts, Volleyball, Games and the
prestigious Citation Ceremony.
Bill Sword is
the master-teacher.
Ruth & Russell Foreman are our 24-7 Ministries directors
and also serve as our Senior Teen Specialists for the state of Texas.
Andrew Sword will be their assistant and also serves as
Teen Specialist for North Central Texas.
